John Manos

Director and founder of MDM Design, John is a highly respected communications expert and business savvy leader.

From the moment he graduated in Graphic Design from Swinburne University in 1991, he was determined to establish a leading design studio, offering an unrivalled and unstinting service to clients.

Awarded the Most Outstanding Graduate in Graphic Design, he also completed a Graduate Diploma of Business Administration with a marketing major – an education that has been the bedrock of his business approach to design and has helped to determine the success MDM Design enjoys today.

John specialises in communication strategy development and has managed complex projects internationally. He has also travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and the United States researching design and communication trends.

A regular contributor to various industry publications, John is also a member of the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) and the Design Institute of Australia (DIA).

Livio De Marchi

Director and company founder, Livio is the head of creative
at MDM Design.

After graduating in Graphic Design from Swinburne University
in 1991, Livio completed a Masters of Business Administration; a grounding that has given him a competitive edge in the design industry and contributed to the success of the company.

His successful career has also seen him lecture part-time at Swinburne University and invited as a guest to the highly esteemed School of Design at the University of Basel in Switzerland.

A member of the Design Institute of Australia (DIA) and the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA), Livio has been a guest speaker for AGDA as well as being sought after to judge design and communication awards.

His business acumen gives him an innate understanding of clients’ needs and the challenges they face; enabling him to solve tangible business problems while delivering outstanding and enduring design.
